Dials are crafted from thin slices of very small Douglas-fir trees harvested from forests of western Montana. These wood dials are hand selected for their beauty and unique annual tree ring history. With decades of growth rings displayed on each timepiece, hours, minutes, and seconds are juxtaposed against years. The origin year of the tree is available as far back as 1920. The origin year can be marked near the center of the tree to align with a birth, anniversary, or other milestone year.
Underneath each wood dial sits a Swiss made quartz movement. The watch is enclosed by a high quality stainless steel case and a sapphire crystal. This year represents when the tree was small seedling. Hand crafted in the Big Sky Country of Montana.
