“The chronology of these pens spans from the late 1800's or early 1900's to 2016. The Douglas-fir tree used to make this pen had sprouted in Western Montana. The pen can be customized with dates or initials to make the perfect commemorative gift. Year(s) of special significance inscribed on the pen will correspond to the year the wood formed in the tree that became the pen. In 2016, the tree was harvested as part of a forest restoration project.
The pen comes with black titanium trim, powerful magnetic cap that posts, and features one of the world's best steel nibs (German made JoWo Berliner). Available in fine, medium, and broad sizes. Also available in 18k gold for an additional fee. Each pen comes with an ink cartridge, converter, and wood case with forest restoration/tree ring history display card. The nib for this pen received a great review from FPGeeks.
The first and last year of the tree’s chronology (late 1800's or early 1900’s, 2016) are automatically included on the pen. Each pen will vary in origin date and grain pattern. As an option, additional year(s) or initials can be added to your pen by completing above field(s).
